Phonak Hearing Aids
Phonak is a member of the Sonova Group and has its corporate headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. It is one of the largest hearing aid manufacturers in the world and has developed, produced and distributed leading hearing technology for more than 60 years. Their goal is to improve the hearing ability and language recognition of people with hearing loss, in particular in a speech in noise situation, and therefore improve a person’s quality of life.
They are now able to do this with their new chipset, called the Venture platform. This offers twice the processing power while reducing battery consumption up to 30%. Due to this increased processing power they have been able to introduce a feature called AutoSense OS, which enables the hearing aids to recognize and automatically adapt seamlessly to more listening situations than ever before. They are also one of the only manufacturers to have Binaural VoiceStream Technology. This means the aids are able to transmit and process speech in real time to improve sound quality and understanding. This technology has led to the development of features such as Speech in Wind, Speech in 360 degrees and a stereo phone program called DuoPhone.
Phonak Audéo V covers a broad range of hearing levels and can be adapted to your needs over time or as your hearing changes. There is a tinnitus option available in all styles at all price levels.
Phonak Audéo V is compatible with the Phonak wireless communication portfolio. These accessories offer great benefits in difficult listening situations and unparalleled speech understanding in noise or over a distance. This includes Bluetooth compatible devices and FM systems.
