Hearing Aid Repairs and Parts

Conveniently located in Perth and Geraldton, WA, Hearing and Audiology can repair or adjust your hearing aids. We stock parts from all the major hearing aid brands, including Phonak, Unitron, Oticon, Widex and many more.

We do simple repairs on-site at any of our clinics. If you need more serious repairs, we can send hearing aids to the manufacturer. We can also obtain a quote for you prior to the commencement of any repairs so you know exactly how much you will be charged. Most hearing aids purchased in Australia have a three year warranty. If your aids are still under warranty most repairs are covered.

We stock a range of hearing aid parts, including batteries, wax guards and tools to clean your hearing aids. If you cannot visit one of our hearing clinics we can post out parts to you once payment is received.

Hearing Aid Adjustments

Hearing aids are precision instruments. They are set to match your unique hearing loss, however hearing changes over time. In order for you to continue to get the most out of your hearing aids, we recommend having your hearing tested every 12 months and having your hearing aids’ settings adjusted to match any changes. If you have noticed that your hearing aids are not functioning as well as previously, please make an appointment to see one of our audiologists for a hearing aid adjustment.

Hearing Aid Servicing

Hearing aids require regular servicing to ensure they are functioning correctly. We recommend having your hearing aids serviced annually, which can be done at the same time as an aid adjustment. We also recommend sending your hearing aid away a few months before its warranty expires for a complimentary manufacturer’s service. This involves us sending your aids to the manufacturer for you from one of our Perth or Geraldton clinics.

What Hearing Aids Can We Repair, Service or Adjust?

If you are one of our clients and purchased your aids from any of our clinics in Perth or Geraldton, please call (08) 9388 8003 for all hearing aid repairs, parts or adjustments.

If you are an Australian Pensioner or Veteran who is having trouble with hearing aids bought under the Hearing Services Program or need batteries or parts, please call (08) 9388 8003.

If you purchased your hearing aids in Australia from another provider, we can still help. Postage and handling fees, repair fees or reprogramming fees may apply.

If you bought your hearing aids overseas (in person or online) we will endeavour to help you. Not all hearing aids purchased outside of Australia are compatible with our equipment or software, and often these aids have shorter warranties than Australian bought aids.

In order for us to assist you, we will need the serial number of your aid(s) so we can check our software is compatible with them. Due to the time and risk involved, if your hearing aids require adjustment, repair, or reprogramming, fees will apply and you will be liable for damages to equipment caused by your hearing aids.
